What customers say

From 22 recommendations on Facebook.

Danny responded quickly to my call when another person let me down after keeping me waiting for weeks. He quoted the next day. Job booked in for the following week. He’s done a great job; several trees, hedges and shrubs needed cutting, in front and back gardens. Mowed grass, did edges. Took everything away and left it all tidy. Very professional, reasonably priced and I would have no problem recommending his services.

I’ve had Danny and the lads around to do a fence in the back garden and recently to put in sleepers and fake grass in an area at the back of the garden after he sorted out the tree surgeon to clear the area for it. Now ready for swings for the kids. Great job again, no messing, worked hard and did a great job, highly recommend.

Philip C. · Facebook

Dan done some hedge trimming and pruned some overgrown trees in my garden, sound lad and very knowledgeable in his trade. Also cleaned up and left the place immaculate. I highly recommend.

Questions

Before you ring.

How do I get a free quote?

All quotes are free. Pick what you need in the quote box at the top of the page and send it on WhatsApp with a few photos of the garden, or call or text Danny on 083 338 3238. You can also email contact@dannyslandscaping.ie.

Which areas do you cover?

We’re based in County Meath and work regularly in Athboy, Trim and Ballivor. We also cover Navan, Kells, Summerhill, Longwood, Dunshaughlin, Ratoath, Ashbourne, Dunboyne and nearby, plus Blanchardstown in west Dublin. If you’re close by, send your location and we’ll confirm.

Do you build pergolas?

Yes. We build timber pergolas, often together with a new patio and planting, so the whole seating area is done in one job.

Do I need planning permission for a pergola or patio?

Most back-garden patios and pergolas don’t need planning permission in Ireland, but there are limits on size, height and how close a structure is to the boundary. If you’re unsure, ask Meath County Council. We’re happy to talk it through when we quote.

Porcelain or natural stone: which is better for a patio?

Porcelain is very hard-wearing, doesn’t stain easily and stays clean with little effort. Natural stone such as granite or sandstone looks more traditional and softens with age. We’ll show you samples and suggest what suits your house and how you use the garden.

Can you fix a waterlogged lawn?

Usually, yes. It depends on the cause: compacted soil, heavy clay or nowhere for the water to go. We look at the ground first, then suggest drainage, levelling or a new lawn.

Do you do regular garden maintenance?

Yes. We do grass cutting, hedge cutting, tree and shrub trimming and power washing, either as a one-off tidy-up or on a regular schedule for homes and estates.

Do you help after storms?

Yes. We clear fallen trees, branches, hedges and damaged fencing after storms. Call or WhatsApp with photos and we’ll tell you when we can get to you.
